DeafBlind Work

We are currently working with Deafblind people in Salford. The group has been working together for some time and have recently produced a number of leaflets to aid Deafblind people in their everyday lives and to raise awareness of the difficulties that Deafblind people face.

The new leaflets were officially released at the launch event for Salford's Well-Being Strategy and Action Plan for Improving the Life Chances of Disabled People in Salford. This strategy has been put in place to improve the life chances of people with physical and/or sensory impairments by maximising independence, providing full opportunities and choices to improve quality of life, ensuring that disabled people are respected and included as equal and active members of society, and challenging discrimination.
