The Salford Apprentice

A new training programme for people who want to make a difference in their community.

  •

  • Do you want to take on a more influential role in your community but feel unprepared?

  • Have you ever wished that you could have your say on the issues that matter to you?
  • Do you want to know more about how local politics works?

Our Apprentice programme could be the next step for you!

We have developed a new training programme for those interested in getting more involved with local decision-making (e.g. how to become a councillor or influence decisions in health, housing, education, criminal justice, etc.)

Our programme is free, accredited, delivered locally, interactive, participatory and fun! It will also be accompanied by a mentoring support scheme.

Successful Apprentices will be able to play a more effective part in local decision-making and will be supported to identify areas where their skills can be used to make a difference.

See our downloads section for further programme information and an application form.

Places are limited! Application deadline: 17th September 2010.
